Brief Introduction

Ganoderma Lucidum(Duanwood reishi mushroom) is a powerful tonic for the body which regulates the immune system, stimulates longevity and enhances well-being. Ganoderma spores inhibit the growth of human bladder cancer cells
Jian Yu Rao and colleagues at the Department Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles, USA (2004) conducted experiments which revealed that preparations of Ganoderma spores can inhibit the growth of human bladder cells. Daniel Sliva and colleagues at the Cancer Research Laboratory and Department of Medicine, University of Indiana, USA (2005) showed that preparations of Ganoderma spores can inhibit the growth of the blood vessels that supply human prostate cancer cells with oxygen and nutrients, causing the prostate cancer to die. Burton B. Yang and colleagues at the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology,
 University of Toronto, Canada (2005) showed that preparations of Ganoderma spores reduce the numbers of integrin proteins at the surfaces of malignant human breast cancer cells.
